Free Stuff on BagpiperDon.com How cool is that? 06August2010 I posted 2 free MP3 downloads on my site yesterday -- unedited tracks from my Celtic-rock/fusion band Nae Regrets' recently released album "Alive at Northwest Folklife 2009". Check out the newly added "Free Stuff" page on my site for the downloads. Album copies are available through BagpipeDiscs.com, Amazon.com, myself and Nae Regrets' snare drummer Andrew in Vancouver BC. ALSO, I recently submitted a track from the album to to IRFT Celtic (online) Radio -- look them up and request music by Nae Regrets! BagpiperDon.com News Status -- Returning to Normal 27Apr2010 I graduated from a collegieat program of study 19June2010. The past five quarters of school took quite a bit of time from my music, but I have since gotten back to work, making progress with a refreshed gusto -- and hunting for a new day-job. At present I project starting recording work on my first smallpipe album around the end of this year, as well as recording the other half of Ceòl gu Brath EP -- my Celtic-rock/fusion band Nae Regrets' first professionally manufactured album -- after that, focusing on my personal pipe albums. Nae Regrets News BagpiperDon's Celtic-Rock/Fusion Project 08July2010 My Celtic-rock/fusion band, Nae Regrets, had another great year at Northwest Folklife giving more high-energy performances to fantastic audiences. We released our new live album, "Alive at Northwest Folklife 2009" to an equally entheuastiac response. We're using this year's event as a spring-board to both develop the group and line up performances -- possibly starting this late-August. Smallpipe Album(s) Back To Work! 03May2010 I'm very happy to announce that I am back to work on an album project I started before my recent round of school -- titled "Building Fire". Playing my fireside smallpipes, I will be joined by a number of talented accompanists between the US and Ireland. My goal is to release Building Fire during the first half of 2011, following it with a sister-album re-working the original material into an electronic/techno remix edition titled "ElectriFire". |
